To the WIVES
an open letter from
Stephanie
Ladies,
Three years ago, I wouldn't
have considered nudism, then Jim and I got together, and he started in on me.
Not hard persuasion, but gentle discussions. I like to think of myself as open
minded, but really hoped he would give up after awhile.
I finally agreed to try one time.
How was I to know if it was for me or not unless I at least tried it? Jim
agreed that at any time I became to uncomfortable we would leave. Whether or
not we went back would be up to me.
When Jim and I got together, I had
a house full of cats. He wasn't crazy about them, but knew it was a package
deal. Jim doesn't gripe about my cats or helping me work in the yard that I
love. He does these things because he loves me and I find great pleasure with
them. I tried nudism, because it meant a lot to Jim, and I love him and want
him to enjoy the things that mean a lot to him, as long as they don't
compromise my values.
We got together in our
mid-fourties. I knew we would need to make a history together to enjoy in our
old age. Neither of us want to spend our lives alone. If we're going to be
together, we have to do things together.
After trying nudism ( and I had
the same concerns you probably have) I realized that there aren't any perfect
bodies. We are pudgy, stretched-marked, scarred from surgeries, or accidents,
out of shape and on and on.
I guess one of my main concerns,
was whether or not Jim would be more interested in other women. He has not done
anything out of line, and neither do the other people interested in this
lifestyle. It has given us a common interest... and a bond.
Today, I have evolved. I enjoy the
freedom. I enjoy getting to know people in the natural settting. We talk about
the same things I talk about with "other" friends. You probably know
people that are nudists, even though they may not acknowledge it. I don't know
a woman alive that can't wait to get out of her bra the minute she gets home
from work. Feeling the breeze on my bare skin and the freedom from swimming in
the nude is delightful !

out and being giving with me in other areas of our life.
